J.B. Herndon (Writer and Director) and Celina Paiz (Producer) have collaborated on films for the past five years. Their last short, The Soldier's Wife, screened at the Locarno Film Festival, SXSW, and LA Shorts Fest, among others. They are the recipients of a Jerome Foundation grant for their current film AUTOPILOT. J.B. and Celina live in Brooklyn, NY.
J.B. Herndon was born in the small farming community of Springfield, Colorado. He spent his youth plowing fields and driving cattle on the family farm before attending Brown University where he studied Modern Culture and Media.
Originally from Guatemala, Celina Paiz grew up in Miami, Florida. She studied visual art at Brown University where she graduated in Art Semiotics.
