J.B. Herndon (Writer and Director) and Celina Paiz (Producer) have been working together since they met. Their first short, The Soldier's Wife, screened at festivals such as the Locarno International Film Festival and SXSW 2008. They are the recipients of a Jerome Foundation grant for AUTOPILOT, their second short. J.B. and Celina are based in Brooklyn, NY.

Born 1981 in Springfield, Colorado, J.B. Herndon plowed fields and drove cattle on the family farm before studying at Brown University. He graduated in Modern Culture and Media.

Originally from Guatemala, Celina Paiz grew up in Miami. She studied visual arts at Brown University where she graduated in Art Semiotics.
